Insert something creative here, because I've got nothing....

Things are going pretty great around here. Just hanging out around the house! Trying to get myself on a pretty regular schedule... You know, cleaning, laundry, cooking, and all that fun stuff! I am trying to daily, but I'm noticing I get less comments, so that could mean that you all are sick of reading about our daily happenings! Hope thats not the case though! :)

I got to meet another bloggy friend! I have been SO blessed by having so many friendships develop thru blogging! Here is Rachel and her little beauty Bree, and Ashley.
I look like an absolute mess and let me tell you I was... I had a baby shower to attend for my other real life bloggy friend Lane. Well, we had a rough start to our Sunday (got to church 20 minutes late and Kyah was screaming her head off, so I nursed her in the parking lot and then we left, I was so sad and frustrated we missed church). We ended up just going out to eat and then headed back home. There is something just so wonderful about Sunday naps. It's like you're supposed to nap, I mean I feel guilty during the week if I ever cheat and take a nap, but for some reason Sunday's I feel like it's a requirement and I LOVE them. {Enough of my napping obsession} Well, I napped a little too long, like 30 minutes past the time the shower started. Lane had mentioned where the shower was at, I listened to part of it and assumed my lovely tomtom would deliver me.... Yeah, didn't happen, the address wasn't in my tomtom. SO - I am an HOUR late! I was HUMILIATED! I had to call the hostess twice during the shower. I was NOT going to miss this shower. {I learned thru my baby showers, how much I appreciated people coming} So, this is what I look like after a 3 hour nap on a Sunday afternoon - oh and after sweating in the car because I was panicked, lost, and late!!!!

I had to snap a few extra pics of my girl all dressed up! I LOVE this outfit, I just got it for her and thought she looked like a little doll baby! I could be biased! :)

Here's how I found Kyah after she woke up from her nap.

I realized I never take pics of her dressed in her pj's so I snapped some the other night. She has quiet the night time wardrobe! I love her pj's! And I love her facial expression even more.

So we tried baby rice cereal for the first time last night...

I really didn't think she would be interested in this stufff, but I was way wrong! She loved it! She cried between bites she wanted more of it. She also wanted to help me get it in her mouth.

I'm waiting 24 hours to see if her tummy is ok with it. So far. so good.

We had our neighbors over and their little guy! It's so fun having neighbors we like with a baby close to Kyah. He is actually just 12 days younger than her!

They held hands on there own, is this not the cutest thing ever!!! He pulled her hand in his mouth and Kyah tried to eat his shoulder.
