Hello 2012!

This is just down right pathetic. It is February and I am yet to post at all in 2012! I have just fallen off the blog wagon. 

Life is just BUSY! It is a lot of work keeping up with family stuff, a career, and you can tell that blogging has definitely taken such a back burner. I was just pulling up blogger to edit this post when I realized I have attempted four different posts. One was deleting my ole blog, another was Christmas, and a couple other random ones. I hate the thought of deleting this blog but it stresses me knowing that I just don't put any effort into this blog any longer....  BUT I'm going to attempt to step it up because I want to look back over my little bambinos lives and remember all the details and well, this is the best way for me to document it! :)
I'll start with Tatum and work my way up! :)

Tatum is growing like a weed. Poor little guy had his first cold at 4 1/2 months old. It's so sad to see him not feel like his perky little self! I say this all the time but I want to remember all the details. Tatum is still our chill little baby! He is so content just hanging out and taking everything in! He will sit and watch his sissy play for hours. He has the cutest little giggle. He has what I call a double giggle! He is SO ticklish and chubby! He is in a size 3 diaper now and wears anything from 6 - 9 month!  He loves his big sis so much! He will see her and immediately smile from ear to ear! He rolled over right at 4 months and loves to be on his tummy for play time. He is so strong, he will push up like he's ready to learn to crawl, I am not ready for that! And he loves to be in his new walker. He is just the best little guy ever!

Haha, I love this pic below! He's just chilling! And the little padding in his walker is pushing that sweet little ear out... I just eat him up!!!

Tatum's first tea party to attend with his sis!

Tatum's first time to eat rice cereal! He was not a fan at first but got the hang of it. He liked it for a couple of weeks but has decided that he hates it and goes all dramatic on me when I even attempt to feed him.

I think because Tatum is so young and little it's easy to see changes daily but when I look back on pictures of Kyah over the past couple of months she has changed so much! I forget sometimes that she is still such a little girl! She is and has always been such a busy little bee. She never stops! She is growing out of naps! I didn't think that was possible! Ha! She goes to bed around 8:30-9 most nights and has school one day a week and dance on another day!  I knew I would love taking her to dance I just didn't realize just how much she would love it! She is soaking it all in! Her big dance recital is June 9th on ther 3rd BIRTHDAY! Woah, that just blows my mind that she is going on 3! Whew!

Some funny traits about Kyah - She is a little toot! She will definitely let you know if she does not want something. This is a very trying time as we are trying establish who the boss is around here.. Most days she likes to try and tell me that she is. She for sure keeps me on my toes. She is a great eater, she loves Tuna and her favorite snack is a bag of carrots and she will even eat the most disqusting thing on earth - sardines. Her daddy loves them and unfortunately he has passed on the same love to her... GAG! I stay clear of them on nights when they feel the urge to open a can of stinky protein.  Kyah went to timeout this week at school because her and her little friend were talking and giggling too much!  I just about died laughing when her teacher told me that. :)

And then there's me - I am loving life! But I'm going to be real for a moment - *My blog I think I'm allowed to do that* :)  Life is HARD! There are moments I feel like I barely have my head above water. Lots of different things happening. Real estate deals - which is fabulous, trying to sell our house, keeping up with two little ones, maintain a house, trying not to forget that I have 2 dogs that feel so neglected since there are now two kids that have stolen all of their attention, dealing with car accident drama, and the list goes on and and on and on. I treated myself to something beyond amazing last week. I hired a cleaning crew for the day! I really felt silly doing that since I feel it is my 'job' but after hiring them and seeing what a difference it made it was totally worth it. Better than a day at the spa. It was a one time treat and they did an amazing job! So, if you'r in NWA and need a good crew to come help you declutter, deep clean, or just regular house cleaning, message me and I'll hook you up! :)

And some really really exciting news..... I started an 8 week challenge. It's really all I can talk about. A friend (thru blogging) asked me to join this challenge. I was fighting it with everything in me not to do it. It is an 8 week series of working out and establishing a healthy lifestyle. I seriously was having an inner fight with myself over joining. I thought of a million reasons not to do it and then there was one reason I decided to join and that is because I deserve it!  I am tired of feeling less than the best that I can be. I want to feel great about myself. Let's face it, age and two kids later my metabolism has changed and I just don't look like I did 5 years ago. Instead of giving into that mindset, I'm fighting it to have a smokin' body! :)  Really it just makes me feel so great to have something to look forward to. I devote 30 minutes a day to working out hard core and I have to say for the first time ever that I actually look forward to working out. We all have to post our weekly pictures in a sports bra and shorts or bikini. I opted for the sports bra and shorts. It was a humbling experience posting that first picture but it is some serious motivation and I'm a part of a group of incredible women that are in the same boat as me. We are all striving to be our best! It's incredible!

So, that sums up all that I can think of right now. It's just pathetic that I don't have more pics to post. I have got to start using my camera more often. All of my pictures are on my phone. :( Poor Tatum is going to think I just didn't take his picture!
